Do cartilage ear piercings hurt?

Do cartilage piercings hurt more thatn regualr earring piercings? Also, where could I get them done I mean would they be done at Claire's at the mall and would they have the cartilage earrings there?

  1. yeah but it doesn't hurt to the point you'll cry. And yes they'll have the earrings.


  2. Not much more. The only thing that was semi-painful was the few days after, just from not being used to it and cleaning it and stuff. But that's totally normal, and yeah Claire's did mine =] and i love it!!

  3. its like a little pinch. then it will sting a bit but its bareable.

    dont take it out after a week like me - it took ages to put back in and when i did it felt like i had got it peirced again!


  4. It depends on your pain tolerance. I have a low pain tolerance, but it didn't hurt all that bad at all. And Claires does cartillage piercings. good luck! :)

  5. When you first get your cartilage pierced you will not be able to sleep on that side of your head and if you do it will hurt it will also take some time for your ear to get used to it. It feels like a little pinch. Tell your piercer to do it quick. Took me a good year to finally sleep on it, but thats me. Also dont do what I did but I got mine done at walmart.
