I mean, like they say that animals can pick up on things like extreme weather and death. What else about them is magical?

  1. Yes. When I was a kid, my hobby was throwing my cat off the roof and watching him land on his feet everytime (except for that last time).

  2. they can see heat waves

  3. I've always heard that they have a different sense of perception. So for instance we can only see so many things with our eyes, our brain can only perceive so much. A cat might be able to see things that we can't simply because their eyes and brains might pick it up where ours won't.

Who knows though, they do have different instincts than us just because they're different animals.

I say my cat has special powers because he was able to figure out what a doorknob does!

  4. Well, the egyptians believed that they held the key to life.

Many of the kings and queens of egypt  kept their cat with them at all times.

Maybe thats where they get the term 9 lives i dunno  :)

  5. Cats don't have special powers, they just use more of their brain than us, to work things out

  6. Its not magical. They just are sensitive to things we are not, mostly because they use more of their brain than we do ours.

Kind of goes against the whole evolution thing if you think about it...

  7. You mean other than training me to go to work, buy the best kibble available, clean the litter box, play on demand, and offer warmed up canned food?

She claws up my furniture, leaves bleeding scratches on me, wakes me up at all hours to play and/or to snack.  That's got to be magic, 'cause I certainly wouldn't put up with that from any stinking human.

    LOL!
