Do cats whiskers grow back?

My stupid dad cut my cats whiskers by accident one side and cut them half way and i was wondering would they ever grow back?

oh gosh same thing happened to me! some neighborhood kids cut my mainecoons whiskers and he's been bumping into things for weeks! :[ poor guy, but they're on the road to recovery and he looks a little less goofy
