Some do. Especially American movie actors and girl singers seem to be unhappy often. Substance use, getting married and divorced on a whim. If one is recognized all the time and followed around by ferocious journalists, one has to be very strong and in-sync.  Actors like Ellen Paige and Joseph Gordon-Levitt seem to have their lives pretty much for them selves and look happy. Harrison Ford just never moved out to Hollywood, but kept his carpenter shop in Penn.

No. Most celebrities are only happy when they are a success. If they aren't the become depressed and dependent on unhealthy substances. This is their job and it makes them happy. If it didn't it wouldn't take much to get out of the business. It's very easy to do.
