  1. yes they have to do it like the rest of us.

a celeb doing jury service would not be reported as the press can not in any way identify or print a picture of a jury member

  2. I would imagine they would, many of them appear on the electoral register under their real name, and the clerks in the courts wouldn't recognise them by their stage names. My parents were never called up for jury service, they would have decided that guilty people are guilty without any do-gooder sympathetic feelings.

  3. Ive never thought about it.I suppose they would be excused because they may draw too much attention to the case and the jury might not be concentrating etc.

  4. i think they do cause i think i heard awhile ago that like brad pitt or someone (i don't think it was him but someone that reminds me of him ) had it but he didn't get picked

  5. whyever not?  exactly what is a celebrity? maybe i'll ask that ques here

  6. I think they'd most likely be dismissed from duty due to their celebrity status and the unnecessary attention it would draw to the case.

I'm sure in the past though there have been celebrities that have been summoned for duty.

  7. Yes the do. It is part of being an American, no exception.

  8. they should have to but could you imagine the person on trial!!!!

  9. i dunno but i should think so as they are citizens i suppose
