Just curious if it charges faster when it's off. and also, why does it stay charge for like weeks if I talk on it very little but like if I talk on it for hours one day it'll be out of charge?

  1. I think so, because it doesn't have to use energy to keep itself lit up, or in service etc. Mine seems to charge faster when it is off.

  2. Yes, phones charge faster when they are turned off because they're not using energy if they were turned on being charged. Cell phones are great, but they do have that problem if you are on the phone for an hour or so, the battery will have no charge left to it. That's just the way they are.

From prior experiences, the more you charge your phone when its turned off, the better and longer the battery will last. I used to charge my phone while it was turned on all the time and within a year of having the phone, the battery needed to be replaced several times. I've had my current phone for over a year now, and have charged it while it was turned off, and the battery still acts like it's brand new - keeping a strong charge for up to a week.
