  1. USA    What is your real question?  Of course they work.  You place them in a light fixture, and they work.

They are less costly per lumen than incandescent lamps.  And they create less heat ( due to lower wattage per lumen )

    So, what is your question?

  2. They sure do...Every light in our house is CFC of one kind or another. The ones in the basement have been there for 6-7 years and I have not had to replace a single one.

  3. Yes they do work great.  They put out plenty of light at a lower wattage, so dissipate less heat and save you money in the long run.  I have them all over my house and have noticed a savings on my electric bill.

  4. Yes, they really do work. I have plenty in fixtures that light up. :) LOL!
