Do chain restaurants only prepare frozen foods?

I know fast food restaurants use mainly frozen foods (with the exception of the salads) are chain restaurants like Applebees the same way?

i would say like applebees uses a lot of frozen foods..

but there are some that are fresh like IN-N-OUT .. usually if they are fresh.. they really advertise that

Yes Applebee's is the same way.  And expect your food to be microwaved.
