Do chameleons make good pets?

Do chameleons make good pets? Please give me as much info as you can! Do they let you hold them?

they can make good pets but they are harder to care for and are not recommended as first reptile.they can be stressed out very easily.and they eat a lot when they are young. but they are sure very fun to watch.i have one baby panther chameleon nose be and he's very nervous but i like to see him eat and change color .

Buy a good book written by a successfull breeder of chameleons. much of the info you will find on the net will be hearsay at best . try this link http://www.kingsnake.com and ask some real chameleon breeders with real life expediences all the questions you have. and don't listen to REPTILE JOSH chameleons can make good pets if your totally prepared for there unique care which can be a hand full but is worth it if you have good prier experience.

No. They have rather strict habitation requirements, stress out easily, and are prone to dying if their needs aren't met.

yes they make really good pets and they are hard to take care of about letting them you hold them u should hold them every few day or else they could get scared of u
