Do channel 7 know how to show live coverage of anything apart from the swimming?

also, do channel 7 know how to show live coverage of anything instead of 3 repeats of the swimming? noting that the swimming and dream team basketball were the only live events i've seen since i got home at 5pm? What about our girls playing hockey?? what about our mens and womens tennis doubles?? playing now? nope? better to show more swimming repeats? Does anyone know if channel 7 will ever show live events at during night again? the first 2 nights were good will we have to put up with this lame night time telecast for the next 3 nights?

Hahaha my family have actually been saying this exactly. I cannot believe how many times I've seen the same swimming races from Stephanie Rice.. and they even replayed with her watching in the corner.

The other day I watched a swimming race and when it finished they replayed the entire thing over again.

Channel 7 sucks. Bring back 9 coverage!

7's idea about the best sporting broadcast we have ever seen and my idea of same seem to be diverging at an ever increasing rate. But of course the good news is, when the swimming is done, then we can watch hours of Athletics in which we will have little or no chance of success rather than see any live coverage of some of our teams producing spectacular medal winning performances ... and when they do win a medal we certainly won't get a replay of the whole event like we have had to sit through ad infinitum with the swimming!!

they r showing hockey now...but they didnt even show a complete game for basketball....they cant show a complete game of anything without interrupting with the stupid swimming replays!!! it was the same on sunday with the aussie basketball game and the usa one

I saw on the Beijing Olympic Wesite that our hockeyroos were playing ZAR at 10.30 our time (last nite).  I was really excited but come 10.30 and channel 7 decided they would rather p*ss their viewers off by showing a basketball game between USA and GRE instead.  After hunting the internet for channel 7's complaint number (which they make sure you cant find on their website) yellowpages gave me 1300 737 507.  I rang them to give them an ear full and the clueless operator said she wasnt sure if it was going to come on.  Eventually, they showed 10 minutes and it wasnt even live!!! What's the point?
