Do chi flat irons cut off automatically if left alone for a long period of time?

I left my house in a rush and am not sure if i left my chi iron on. Does it turn off automatically?

  1. Mine does but not all irons do. When you bought it, it should have said if it does or does not.  


  2. Mine doesnt.

    It stays on until I turn it off by myself[:
