Do children need a valid passport when travelling to ireland with an adult ( adult has a valid passport)?

  1. yes if there an american citizen. I believe they are alot cheaper then the adult passports. Not sure of the age limit. Your local main post office should have more info...check the link below.....


  2. Yes, even a baby or pet needs a passport to travel internationally.

  3. Because of the Common Travel Area, Irish or British citizens technically don't need passports to travel between Ireland and the UK.

    That said, most airlines do require some form of photo ID, although not for a young child accompanied by parents. Ususally, if the parent has a passport OR a photo driving licence, then that is adequate. I would check with your airline.
