As I was running Wednesday morning, a little girl ahead of me kept looking back and running, saying "run! run! run!", she looked about 2 years old. lol Then today, a little guy about 6 years old was walking towards me with his family. He ran ahead of his parents and siblings to get next to me, he turned around, put a big smile on his face and I smiled back, and he raced me back to where his family was. lol it was so cute! I mostly enjoy the idea that I'm probably encouraging them to be active. Do kids play with you like this too?

  1. ye s, it is really cute when the little kids do it and it kinda makes u laugh lol

  2. I thought I was the only one this happened to, wow this seems to happen all the time. I'm a little bit of a trackstar in my neighborhood, XC state champ, and people are always trying to run with me, or riding their bikes beside me screaming run forest run, thats my favorite. Its cool though because it keeps the workout fun, I dont ever want my running to become so serious that I dont have time to play with the kids.

  3. Whoa, that happened to me last summer when training for Cross Country.

  4. Personally, the role we play in relation to children is very important because it is this relationship that nurtures children and shapes them into healthy adults. :-)
