Yes i heard that before from different people, that children when they start laughing or crying for no reason its because they seen something us adults cant see..

Sometimes, but adults can have the same abilities.  It's just that children's minds have not been trained to disbelieve what they have seen or heard like adults have been.

I "see" and "hear" spirits all the time and have since I can remember.  My mother was also a seer as well as my grandmothr and great grandmother.  They encouraged me to not fear my gift, but to use it.   I just think it depends on whether the child is taught to honor the gift or if the parents are afraid, they tend to dismiss the child's claims.

believe most children would as when they are younger they belive and don't ignore the strange things that most older people grow out of and start to not notice what is going on in the supernatural world around us.

No. Children have a more active imagination, and can THINK they see ghosts. Its not because theyre open-minded, ghosts reveal themselves to everyone, not just of someone of a special age.

If adults let go of their prejudices and ideas of what should or shouldn't be "real", they could see and hear anything a child does. Most children have not yet reached the cultural jadedness that adults impose on themselves in order to "fit" into mundane culture. Children look at the world as a realm of infinite possibilities. Adults too often lose that capability and close their minds to anything that doesn't seem to fit the task at hand. Sad.

Hmm....where does the whole imaginary friend come from. I think kids are innocent and are probrably going to be able to see things they wouldn't understand.

Adults are corrupted, less likely to be bothered.

i think it really varies on the person... what are the odds that everybody will see a ghost in their lifetime; not very high, but i think that if a ghost is near, whoever is meant to see it will see it... adult or child.
