Do children these days grow up to quickly?

Do kids of today have to grow up too quickly, or are they staying young too long?!?!?

Personally I think they have more adult like behavior (sexuality is the #1 example)too early and yet staying immature too long by having someone(parents) take care of adult like decisions(college,money).

well to me, my sister, 8, is growing up too quickly. she's basically an adolescent right now. i say she's about 13. lol
