Would just a brith certificate be acceptable for children under the age of 16?

  1. No, they'll need either to be listed on the parents passport or have a photo ID of their own - it to stop people kidnappiing/smuggling children.  You need to prove they're your own kids basically.


  2. I didn't when i was younger, don't know if regulations have change since 9/11. 21 now so things may have changed. Contact the English embassy in Ireland or your travel company. They should be able to inform you.

  3. Pretty sure they don't if accompanied by a parent where the child is listed on the parent's passport, but the kid should get a passport anyway
