Do children with tubes need earplugs when they are in water?

Question

my granddaughter had tubes about a month ago and I am watching her for four days,I bought a slip and slide but am worried about her ears,should I use earplugs for her?

When i was young i had tubes and i had the molded ear plugs, but i know some who had them and didnt. the above link seems like a smart choice, since there seems to be no absolute yes or no.

Yes, the doctors should have given you a headband that you wear when taking a shower/bath or when you go swimming. It just looks like a think headband and it covers your ears. If you wear it, you're fine!
