  1. Not many, in fact, Chinese people like their drinks to be warm or hot. I have asked couple of times for ice cubes in my drinks in China while in restaurants. I think it's a cultural thing.

  2. Yes, they do!

  3. yes

  4. I've lived in mainland China for years and can tell you from experience that, unless you go to a fast-food restaurant, you're not going to get ice in your drinks.  Chinese typically don't put ice in their drinks, neither at home nor at restaurants.

  5. yes, but they are not very popular...

hot green tea is out of challenge

    :P

  6. Most Chinese prefer their drink warm/hot/cold but not icy cold. When I was in China 5 yrs ago I had to put every single bottle water in the refrigerator, and my grandma thought It was gonna give me "diarrhea". lol Seriously though, if she eats anything that cold she'd end up in the bathroom for a long time. I guess they're just not used to it.

I doubt the younger kids who grew up eating fast food like McDonald's, KFC or Pizza Hut in China would have a problem drinking ice water.
