Do christians really believe that people used to live upto 2500 years olds?

afaik Methusilla lived almost or around 900 and that was the longest.

If you actually do some study, we have really not yet figured out why people die.

Theoretically speaking, if you don't have any pollutants and all the other harmful stuff that we do have today, well you will pretty much live past the hundred mark. actually people still live around almost 120 even today.

now improve their nutritional intake.

(theorize the condition the earth was in  right after its creation.)

no natural disasters (at least until the flood or something)

no pollution,

vegetation had extreme amounts of nutrients. (and no fertilizers either)

people were a lot less stressed out.

people did not get sick like we do.

they had plenty of excercise.

in addition the theory that the world had high amounts of oxygen and also that we had hyperbarric conditions, (the air pressure was higher)

also the bible talks about the firmament that covered the earth. the theory is that this firmament protected us from uv rays.

anyways. just look at the difference. people in other contries living to 120 and americans living around 60..

and that is just a difference in location.

Almost; about 900+ years. It is a definite case for de-evolution. The world's oldest man, Methuselah, did not die of natural causes. He died on the day the flood started (drowned?).
