Do college lax goalies cut there sticks short?

i want to cut my goalie shaft so it dosnt get caught in the net

sure do . one thing to cosider when you cut  a shaft the kick point is also raised . this will decrease hieght of pass . also affect accuracy . it will take wall ball to regain touch . purchase lead tape , golf shop . wrap bottom of shaft this will help restore lower kick point . have great season .
