  1. well it depends. if a college student says they need $100 for groceries they might use part of it for cigarettes so then yes their parents are buying them.

  2. if you get your parent's to pay for yours, you dang lucky. Most have to pay for them themselves, with the money they earned from their job!

  3. they buy their own.

  4. They are over 18 and they can by their own Cigs.  What little spoiled brat thinks their parents are gonna do that.  Into the corner with you.

  5. well seeing as college students are of age to buy their own cigarettes than they should. If you don't buy your own than that's just wrong. You want them, you buy them!

  6. i sure hope they buy their own but with the way US parents seem to spoil their kids who knows, its no wonder there are economical issues

  7. Parents are usually against their son or daughter smoking so the student buys them themselves.

  8. Why would you want to get some in the first place. Hello! those things kill you!

  9. if your parent buys your cigarettes you dont deserve that stogie.

  10. Ok, mom and dad are paying for college.. they've paid for every need you've ever had in life. Wouldn't a college student think mom and dad have done MORE than enough?

Would a college student really expect mom and dad to buy their cigarettes? If a college student really wants to kill themselves with smoking, then I should think they need to buy their own smokes.

What's next? Will mom and dad also be required to pay your bills, feed, shelter and clothe you, your wife and kids someday too?

Whatever happened to people going off to college, to learn not only a future profession, but how to be a responsible adult too?
