Do colleges lower standerds for LD STUDENTS LETS SAY YOU HAVE TO HAVE A 20 on the act?

but you only got a 18 you have A learning disability would could they still accept you? thanks

  1. If you were identified as an LD student while in elementary or high school, and you have a current IEP at the time you graduated from high school and took the ACT, then submit all your documentation with your application (copies, of course!).  I do not know if a particular college will admit you, but at least it will give them a better understanding of you as a potential student, which is what the application is supposed to do.  If you'll need additional helps, like an amanuensis, tape recorder, tutor, reduced course load, or whatever, you'll need to tell them about it when you apply.
