Question:

Do colleges really consider foreigner's disadvantage on the SATs(especially english parts)?

i mean colleges say that they will consider it...

but i've never seen foreign students (with low SATs) get to the top schools, even other factors (GPA, activities, awards, etc) shows they're top students

  1. Top schools are so competitive now, people who do not score that high may have a severe disadvantage. However, that is why these foreign students usually take the TOEFL also, so colleges can see how strong they actually are in english.
