Question:

Do colleges recommend a Math/Science SAT 2 and a History/Language Arts SAT 2?

I've taken two SAT 2's:

Math 2- 800

US History- 720

And I'm planning on taking Physics.

I'm applying to business undergrad programs, such as Wharton (U Penn), Tepper (Carnegie Mellon), and would like to major in finance. I'm okay with the US History score, but I don't think it's that competitive, so I'm contemplating retaking it. But at the same time, I know I would do much better on Physics than US History, so if the US History subject test isn't really necessary or if colleges don't necessarily recommend a History/Language Arts SAT 2, I probably wouldn't retake it. Would you recommend retaking US History?

  1. It wouldn't hurt...

You're allowed to take up to 3 exams on any give day, so if I were you, the next time you take the exam, take Physics, US History, and some other exam (perhaps English Literature), just to keep your options open. And then when the time comes, seeing as you plan on majoring in Finance, just send in your 2 highest scores.
