Question:

Do colleges see all of your AP scores?

I was wondering - do colleges that you apply to see all of your AP scores? Or do you have to send them personally?

I know at the beginning of the AP registration before the test, you can choose to send your scores to a college... but do you have to do that manually? Or is there an AP transcript that colleges get directly when you apply?

Thanks!

  1. I think they dont.

  2. They do not see your AP scores unless you signed to send them a copy. You have to have them sent like you do with an ACT score.

Colleges will see your score in your school class but not the AP score. Most are likely to be impressed that you took the class and did not go for the easy way out.

  3. No, I don't think they do. Most colleges don't weigh in AP scores for admissions... I think it's mostly for college credit. That's why they only let you send it to one college for free?
