  1. Yes, they do.

They have a g*y group of taggers who accompany them everywhere.

  2. Since Licuria retired Holland, is now probably the number one man,but has fitness issues, however Burns, Johnson, Clarke, and  Pendlebury, fill in the void without drawing much attention for the roles they play ,due to rotation and the fact coach Malthouse is arguably the best defensive coach, by way of game plan, in the game.

  3. Yes, they do.

Someone said they have plenty of them. I think I'd still get a kick out there if I had Anthony Rocca tagging me!

  4. yes but they don't have a rawlings/ling/ type of tagger who will put a hard tag on the opposition. Holland and O'bree are their taggers however both are mainly run with players. Neither are capable of putting a hard tag on the opposition's gun player. Wellingham did alright on ablett on the weekend and played a pretty good negating role

  5. They have plenty of them, but not your usual tagger types, it's the reason, well one of them, that they beat Geelong.  They have plenty of players who can nullify opponents, they must have, they match up time and time again so well against the Cats.

Of course they also win positions but they take good players out of the game, against geelong any way.

  6. I think that Brodie Holland is classified as a tagger.

When he's not suspended that is.

  7. O'Bree

    Lockyer

    Rhyce does a good job

    O'Brien

Maxwell did a gr8 job on Gamble last week

    Nathan Brown took on Scarlett

  8. The old art of a dedicated 'tagger' is all but gone in current football.  Those like Holland who you could say is their main tagger, now find it hard to keep a place with fitness and just a tagging role.  Most mid fielders and on ball players are now required to 'tag' as needed to nullify players.  That way the player goes with the 'better' opponent, and hopefully comes away with the ball.  'Attacking taggers' I have heard it called.  I'd say a team like the Maggies, or Brisbane have 12-14 players that could easily fit the role - it really depends on the particular opposition.  For instance, you could say Weellingham had a taggers role vs Ablet, and he did well, but he also had the freedom to run off and make play - make Ablet chase him.  Gone are the days of a player getting a game just because he is a tagger.

  9. that is a good one.. they dont have a tagger that tags someone most weeks and does a terrific job like most other teams... i think, yer shaw maybe or dane swan would be another good one??
