Not generally, only if you need some unique design. Of course every diamond can be treated with different methods to change their appearance (color, weight, inclusions) but done is done by each customer's wish.These diamonds are called enhanced diamonds. Hope this helps you.

Not at all, just be more careful with especially black diamonds. They are very included diamonds basically and some can be rather fragile. Many colored diamonds are heavily included, it is normal if any fancy carat in colored diamonds is found for over 10.000 ct of colorless diamonds.
