  1. no, theyre pretty

  2. i personally think it depends on if it's a big difference or not.

of it's just a little difference, (dark brown to hazel)

i think you shouldn't even bother getting them.

you can always try gray! :D

  3. iv seen the hazel contacts and there kinda weird they are like a orange color anyways my first pair i got wernt brand contacts so i look very fake i recommend freshlook or acuve

  4. yes

my friend at skool got blue contacts

by break she was frustrated b/c of all the comments

  5. If you're african-american, anything in the blue or green category would probably look pretty fake. Though I think I brownish-hazel would be really exotic and pretty if your skin is on the lighter side. If your complexion is a little darker, try a golden-honey brown.

  6. i think they would look really good, just make sure to get the right shade! you might just wanna do a lighter brown!!!!

  7. Not at all!

people will compliment them a lot, i actually have them and everyone says i look gorgeous. i'm sure you would look very pretty with them.

so, yes. you should get them!

  8. I think you should get them. You might not get compliments, but I think they would look cool.

  9. they probably will. you should try gray when i see someone with gray eyes and that skin tone i think they have really pretty eyes , and not fake.

  10. No, I think it will look really pretty.

    You should get them.

    =]

  11. no not at all

  12. I think they look fine. I want blue....and i have green boring eyes hahah!!!

  13. It wont make you look fake

I think they are really pretty, though people can know you are wearing fake ones

Last sunday we were at olive garden and our waitress was wearing color contacts and it was noticeable but its not that big of a deal

  14. I think all eyes colors in the world are beautiful , and each person has a unique color , lenses makes you look unnatural because actually they are unnatural , keep your eyes

  15. I have Dark brown eyes and lOVE them but i always wanted blue eyes... But i think that you would ahve to try them and see how thy look on you and see what u think maybe its cute or maybe it just isnt for u.

  16. I wear contacts or glasses, depending on my mood. Accuvue makes some really great looking colored contacts. I wear Bausch and Lomb's brand of aqua colored lenses because my eyes are blueish-green. To make my eyes pop, I use dark brown eyeliner, or sometimes in the evenings, I'll use jet black eyeliner, halfway underneath my bottom lids to make my eyes look bigger. Just do not carry the line to the base of your eye where your tear ducts are because even the best hypoallergenic makeup products could give you an eye infection, or even worse, block your tearducts! And then, I follow that up with waterproof dark brown or black mascara... whatever looks best on you!

I am just the opposite of you with really pale, ivory skin and light colored eyes, like my avatar, except my hair is a darker blonde. So, when I wear certain brands of contacts, they are not always comfortable when I first put them in. To make  certain colors, sometimes the lense has be thicker than what I am accustomed to normally wearing. I had a violet pair of contacts once that I loved, but they were much thicker than the aqua-blue contacts I normally wear, and it took a while for me to get used to them, even though they were prescription lenses. And no, they did not make my eyes look fake like my eyes were actually blueish-violet, but more of a darker and prettier blue, with no greenish shade to them. I know that I got compliments on both the aqua and the purple colors and the people that I didn't know very well could not tell that these were not my natural color!

I think people that wear colored contacts look just fine, so just don't worry about what other people think. Just be prepared to plunk down around $200.00 cash, if these are presciption lenses like mine. My daughter-in-law has dark brown eyes that are almost black. She wears grey or dark blue contacts and because her skin is olive-toned, these colors look great on her.  I think it depends on the brand and whether or not you need prescription contacts as to how much they will cost you. I just know that a brand new pair for me runs around $250.00 or $275.00, which is much cheaper than what I pay for my prescription glasses.  After that purchase, I buy insurance from my doctor so I pay $75.00 per lense for replacements. The last batch I ordered were the Bausch & Lomb aqua colored lenses, with 6 pair of disposable lenses to wear. I made mine last a whole year because I alternate with my glasses and my colored contacts.  And colored contacts should be as comfortable as clear contact lenses.

One thing I will tell you is please do not order the kind of lenses that you can sleep in. My eye doctor told me that since you don't blink when you sleep, your eyes are much drier and that it can cause abrasions to the lens of your eyes if you sleep in lenses. Anytime I fall asleep with my lenses on, I have to blink quite a few times to get some moisture back in my eyes and get my contacts loosened up so I can take them out and put some no-rub, ph-balanced saline solution on my lenses. Almost all lenses will totally dry up and become hard if you don't keep them immersed in saline whenever you are

    not wearing them.

If you don't have any eye problems that need correcting and you just want these to change your eye colors, you can buy these kind of contacts online without a doctors prescription. And yes, they will look great and probably cost way less than what my lenses cost.  Don't worry about being afraid to go ahead and experiment with colored contacts on your eyes. The most important factor is comfort and that the lenses fit your eyes well.  I would go for it!!  Best of luck to you!

Good luck and I hope you find what you like at www.theatrical contact lenses.com.      Ã¢Â˜Âº
