Do common musk turtles do well in captivity with non-turtle species?

common must turtles are weak swimmers, so will other species like frogs, newts, or semi-aquatic snakes be able to coexist peacefully with these turtles?

  1. NO for all the reasons above and

    different species have different bacteria/parasites/diseases that live on and in them that they are immune to. when u put 2 species together these can be transfered this can make your pets ill or even kill them. dont do it  


  2. absolutly not! Turtles can not be housed with any amphibians, because

    1. amphibians do not live in a 85% aquatic setup, like turtles do.

    2. turtle might eat the amphibians.

    3. turtle will get sick because amphibians have poisons in their skin.

    the only creatures that turtles can live with is fish, but the fish are feeders( aka only put there to feed the turtle)
