Do computer viruses attract more viruses?

Question

i accidently downloaded a trojan virus through limewire

and i think it was because i was taking the files from the bottom of the list.

is it safe to download more files whilst i still have the virus? will it infect these files?

whats the best, cheap-ish package for deleting viruses

scan with antivirus

if am not wrong no one antivirus deleted or repair for trojan virus

Gettin' this crud out is hard  job... try using Avast! anti-v (it's free).

Your opening line says about all needed... it's not the machine & software, it's the user & habits.

With all the 100,000 malware vulnerabilities for windows, good habits are the first line of defense against these bad guys.

Peer to peer file share is perhaps the quickest way to get infected.  You are getting what everyone else has- good or bad.
