  1. Yes.  In the USA and most countries, they can drink and drive, tare up parking tickets and other minor offenses you and I have to deal with.  Maybe most importantly, they can or could until recently, pass through customs without being searched.


  2. YES, even if they commit a crime in that country, they are immune and will be dealt with back in their own country that might not prosecute them, so h**l yea, be an ambassador.

  3. Well they are immune against the laws of the country where they serve. Up to a certain extent though. Privileges? A ton.
