Im not sure but someone told me that if your perscription is strong, when you wear contacts your eyes will look different. Is this true? I've been wearing contacts and my perscription is strong and i've noticed that my eyes look unusual. Thanks.

  1. Artificial corrections(glasses, contacts, lasik) make everybody look different. They encourage the incorrect vision habits of staring, diffusion, strain,  and tension.

One of the first things an aware person will see is that all nearsights jut their head forward more and more depending upon how strong their prescriptions are.(and here we thought nerds were just born that way).

Nearsights also have a tight face and tend to wrinkle up a lot quicker. If you look at a person with natural perfect eyesight and set them next to a nearsight you can see the tension in a nearsights face and posture.

Nearsights also have poorer balance and hand eye coordination.

Not a great deal for quick clear vision.

  2. Not that I am aware.

About the only way you can tell if someone has contacts in is if you are within six inches of their face anyway.

  3. I have a strong prescription and the contacts are only as noticeable as my friend's with weaker prescriptions. I don't think they change the look of your eyes.

  4. Hi Skillz,

I can't tell at all that people are wearing contacts whether the prescription is strong or not.

  5. I don't think so. I have contacts... and they don't change my eyes... other than allowing me to see :)

  6. No. You can't tell the difference from a weak perscription to a strong one. if its different color contacts they will look unusual. But other than that the perscription doesnt change the way the contacts look.
