Do copperhead (copper coated) bb's work better than standard Daisy bb's?

No. Unless you're doing Olympic level target shooting BBs are BBs. Get what's cheapest and don't worry about it.

IMO, Daisy has better quality control than Crosman, so their zinc plated BBs are better than Crosman's copper plated ones.

You do have to pay the big bucks for all that extra quality. Daisy BBs cost about .25c more per thousand.

All BBs are not alike, they are different in quality and even different in size** which makes a difference in accuracy and velocity. It's up to you if you want to spend that extra .25c per thousand to get the better BB or not.

I haven't noticed too much difference except that the copper ones seem to be a touch small than the zinc coated.
