  1. Pretty much.  Once in a while they like to p**s people off by pulling people over and strip searching folks while their partner searches the car for snacks and drinks to confiscate.  They usually wait around the corner from their favorite fast food place and wait for a teenager to pull out of the Drive Thru.  Yes, it's a tough job.

  2. unfortunately depending where they are it's very true.i have seen many of them.sometimes doing nothing for hours on particular places parking lot and talking to each others or reading a news paper..

  3. No. It's a dangerous job, and they put their lives at risk every day.

  4. Just a stereotype and not true.  When there are police who have extra time on their hands while at work this is actually a good sign because it means that they are doing their job effectively.  If they are not getting called every five minutes then obviously they have made some sort of impact and people are following the rules.

If my streets are safe and police are getting up everyday to risk their lives to keep it this way then I could really care less what they like to eat.  I am more interested in their ability to be good police and to protect communities.

  5. NO, and the only reason they got this rep is because doughnut shops used to be the only places open all night where they could get a cup of coffee and take a break.  Plus doughnuts are cheap and cops don't get paid nearly enough for all they do.

  6. Buy a bumper sticker that says, "Bad cop: No donut"

and find the ones that are working...
