  1. I recommend no more than 20-25 minutes daily due to the risk of stress. You shouldn't handle him after feeding. You should also leave him alone during shedding.

No snakes "need" handling, and some don't respond well to at all, but corns have an extremely sweet disposition, and even with a lack of handling, they remain pretty tame.  They are almost tame innately, probably due to the fact that they've been captive bred for years and are a staple in the herpetoculture world.  They definitely seem to enjoy handling, and they enjoy exploring outside of their cage, and it's good exercise.  If you don't handle him for a week or two, don't worry about it, and be sure not to handle them two days after feeding, it can cause them to regurgitate.

  3. I handle mine as often as possible. The more you handle them, the calmer they are.
