  1. I believe they have to by law if they have had a call about you. Don`t worry if you have nothing to hide they will see that......

  2. Yes

  3. If you are claiming benefit...that is just cause.

  4. fraud There is so much benefit going on that Councils have to check all complaints. They can visit me any time to check my claims, they are all legitimate. Only the fraudsters need to worry.

  5. They are too busy just to do house swoops ,they will have followed up anyone reporting you with visual ops.

if you know nothings wrong invite them in willingly  you couldbe mixed up with someone with the same coloured cloths as yourself  but if true come clean from the first words you say not only will they leave quicker but they may help and advise you..They are not looking for a war with you just clear it up but if you give them a war they WIN

  6. Why worry if you have nothing to hide.  Forget about your neighbour

  7. Only when they come to collect their bribes from you, lol.

  8. Well once I claimed housing benefit for 3 weeks & they sent someone round to check the property.

  9. Love thy Neighbour

  10. Some councils send out staff to check your claim, they do it once a year and saves you filling out heaps of forms to renew your claim. They normally send a letter first to let you know they are coming.

  11. Hi I work for benefits, all councils to random spot check visits as a routine, at some point anyone claiming housing benefit gets a visit its nothing to worry about just the goverment require us to do it to catch out the small minority that do have something to hide

  12. They will visit if they have had information suggesting fraud or something similar. You had nothing to hide and they will have seen that. Just ignore the jealous neighbour
