  1. Most inexpensive public courses charge extra if you want to hit balls at their range before the round.  More upscale expensive courses do not charge for a small warm up bucket.  Either way you are paying for the range balls.  At a tournament where you have paid an entry fee - that usually includes some range balls to warm up before the round.

  2. Completely depends on the course.  The higher end courses usually don't but the public ones usually do..

  3. Good question.  this varies with the type of course you're playing.  Public courses will typcially charge you between $3 - 6 a bucket.  Meanwhile, a resort course will have already added this to your golf for the day...you usually get all you can get packages that includes golf balls.  Country Clubs includes ranges balls with your membership (or your buddies membership)

    Practice makes Perfect...enjoy!

  4. You're going to pay for range balls regardless.  At some courses, the rates include the balls and at some they don't.  We don't include range balls but if we did we would have to raise the rates by 1-2 dollars per player.

  5. you pay at public courses, you don't pay at your friends' club.
