Do cowkiller ants actually kill cows?

Because I looked it up and it said they are so powerful they just CALL them cow killers, i caught a cow killer ant and i dont know if they will actually kill cows......HELP I NEED AN EXPERT.

hey i picked up one today while mowin my lawn and it din't do any thing i hade some gloves on but not thick gloves man think gosh i din't get stung
