In the deserts of South West USA, do coyotes really prey on roadrunners or is it purely just cartoon myth?

  1. Sure if a coyote happened upon a roadrunner that was easy prey...like one sitting on a nest, the coyote would surely eat it.  But, no they are not like known enemies or anything like the cartoons make them out to be.

  2. i think the myth is the rocket powered roller skates everything else seems true

  3. no they live in total differant places,

  4. Roadrunners can fly.

  5. Good question, but no.

And coyotes are faster than roadrunners in real life.

Coyotes can do 40mph, and roadrunners only about 20mph.
