  1. I know I am crazy.I got papers to prove it

  2. They are ever busy condemning others as 'crazy', they have no time and inclination to wonder if they are 'crazy' themselves !

  3. I always heard that if you wonder about your sanity you're sane...if you're pretty sure you're normal then you forgot to take your meds!

  4. unhappy people know they are unhappy but really insane I dont know cos i am not crazy but had a frined with schizophrenia once and she knew she was but could not stop herself doing this but she was so lovely person I think she was just scared deep down.

the real psychos like killers seem perfectly normal and probably think

  5. lol I think they do...but they are not sure what real and whats not, so they are not sure if they are crazy, or if the its the world thats the problem. And normally, they end up thinking its the world, so they do crazy things to try and correct what they think is the problem.

My ex Bf when I was 17 was schizophrenic and he thought that bright lights at the end of his road were alien spaceships.....then he would kind of admit sometimes that it was because of his illness, then he would go back to thinking it was real.

  6. Before I was diagnosed, yes, but now I know I am and I just have to be comfortable with it.

  7. Someone asked this same question a while ago. I was really upset with the term "crazy". There are many more words that can be used.

I myself have mental problems and I'm not crazy nor do I know anyone who is. With mental problems comes a stigma that is very hard to live with.

I'm sure you meant nothing by it. But please choose your words more carefully next time. As they may offend people without your even realizing it.

The last person that asked this I was very mean to him. He sent me an email and then gave me best answer. I think he meant no harm either.

To answer your question. Not always, I myself went through a few years before I realized how bad my psychosis was. I was also ashamed at the fact that I heard voices. I believe that most people with sz don't know they are ill when having an episode. I can't answer for all of them only the people I know.  I myself am not sz, I just hear voices. That can also bring out a lot of sz symptoms. I'm happy to say that I have it under control and feel much better.

    Take care
