Do credit cards cost any $ if.......?

There won't be any charges unless your card has an annual fee

HOWEVER, if you don't make at least a token purchase a few times a year (every 3-4 months) good chance that the card issuer will close the account as it costs them money to maintain the account.

Most credit card companies will hit you with an "inactive" account fee, if you haven't used it for 1 year, maybe some are less than that, but a Free Citi Bank card sent me a bill for $25 at one year of no use.

If the card has an annual fee you will be charged it.  Some do and others do not.  Keep in mind if you close a card it can impact your credit score because it will reduce your avail. credit by lowering the amount of avail. credit to your balances

it depends on the credit card.

alot of credit cards have annual fees.

i suppose they could dream up inactive account fees and maintenance fees too.
