  1. No, they don't.

    Some teeth have white spots naturally, evidence of the way the enamel was laid down when the tooth was formed. Bleaching the teeth might heighten these white spots, but they don't put them there.


  2. as a dental hgienist, what tends to happen is the lighter spot get whiter first but with continued use it evens out. please follow the instructions though.  also alot of people experience sensitivity.  i suggest brushing with sensodyne first.  Keep in mind that it doesn't remove stains such as coffee and tobacco.  it is best to start after a professional cleaning  Good luck and don't be too disappointed, results really do vary
