Do cricketers get tested for drugs after matches?

Just curious after Asif incident.

Sometimes they get tested after and sometimes before.

Cricketers get tested before - like india and pakistan are going to test their players before matches in the asia cup.

And really there's no point in testing platers after because if they have taken drugs before or during a match, well after the match the affects of the drugs has already took place on the player as well as their performance - this then obviously affects the game. But then again if they do test players afterwards they can catch the players who have taken drugs before or during a match.

They dont test u after a game put they do ramdom test if the coach thinks sumthings up but nt always.... They are more likly to be caught wif the drug on the and the be taken for a test. As u may or maynt now abt gibbs getting caught 4 somking weed.. they didnt test him they found the bannki... at worldcups they do random steroid tests........

Usually NO,But YES if they are suspected.

Yes, they do - They are subject to random drug testing.

In fact Hamish Marshall from NZ was tested at lunch during the Aus vs NZ game a couple of year back.

I dont think so. If the team would have had been checked, then Asif would have had been caught before.
