Do cruise ships show recent (or current) movies in their theatres?

Im about to take a Alaskan cruise saturday and i heard there's a movie screen that sits near the main pool area. probbaly not the only one.

Does anyone know how current they have on the movies they show on these screens?

They show really recent, but not new or current releases. Not in-theater movies, but not already-out-on-video either.
