  1. Yes, there will be at least one US (110 volt) and one European (220 volt) outlet in every cabin.  It's usually on the desk.

FYI, there's usually a switch next to the outlet.  If you don't get power when you first plug in, flip the switch.

A couple of follow-ups to other posters' comments:

    - The cruise lines don't recommend using an extension cord.  The outlets aren't necessarily rated for multiple items, and there's a risk of starting a fire

    - There is an outlet in the bathroom that says "for razors only."  I always thought that was a joke ... until one time I fried a laptop battery (in a hotel, not a cruise ship)

So, be safe, and have a wonderful trip!

  2. If you are leaving on a cruise ship from the US you will definitely have plugs for your US devices.  I would however, take an extension cord for when you have more than one device you need to plug in.  Most staterooms will have only one available outlet.

  3. Yes they do.  You may want to take an extension cord if you have alot to plug in.

  4. Yes cruise ships do have electrical outlets and you do not need a converter to plug in your things that you need to charge or use.  BUT, you should take and extension cord as the electrical plugs are generally not in very convenient locations, especially if you want to plug in more than one thing at a time.

  5. You will find a least one plug in the cabin (if you have a lot of things to charge take a power strip) and a shaver plug in the bathroom.

  6. I always take an extension cord, and have never had a problem. That way I can hide in the corner and not be in anyones way. I mean come on now, a girl needs more then one outlet..
