  2. Only if the benefits (and they certainly don't come from cycling) outweigh the constant itch and associated loss in focus.  Depends on your mate, then, I guess.

    Additionally, once you shave there, you need to always shave there until your racing season is done.  You see, as it grows back, it sticks straight out through your Lycra shorts, and creates extra wind resistance, thereby slowing you down...........on top of the speed reduction due to lost energy spent scratching the itch, as mentioned above.
