Do dating sites work for early 20's?

Question

I know the standard answers that I should just go out and meet people but I don't know where to go. I'm 21, don't want to go to a bar, I'm not religious, don't have any real hobbies but I wouldn't know where to go if I did. I have friends at work but none that I actually see outside of it.

Sure they do.  I have friends your age that met their guys on dating sites.  They were tired of the bar scene, and so busy.  They were looking for serious relationships.

Most people in their 20's are looking for more of a fling than anything else, so I'd say:  No, serious dating sites probably don't work as well as they intend for people in their 20's looking for the same.

However, geography plays a part, and if you're stuck in a small town without the ability to go out and meet now people, they're worth a shot.  Just don't spend all of your money looking for something that may be in front of you...
