I am interested in trading in my Mustand and purchasing a Yaris? Would a Toyota dealer typically accept a Ford product as a trade-in?

  1. I just traded in my Mustang for a 2008 Scion XD (made by Toyota).....and Toyota actually gave me the highest trade in amount (even more than a ford dealer).....which really surprised me....

If you are thinking about a Yaris, I suggest you also look at the Scion XD....I originally looked at the Yaris, the low sticker price and high mpgs make it attractive, but once you start adding basic options like power windows and a/c, you might as well move up to the Scion, it comes standard with lots of things that you would pay extra for with the Yaris....

  2. no

  3. They normally do

  4. Sure.

  5. Yes, absolutely.

  6. yes they do and also like to have other makes so when people come to look they can see other makes besides toyotas.

But be sure to know the trade value before you go in otherwise they'll take it from you for lots less than the value. I use edmunds.com or some use kellyblue book.com and get your trade value first and also can find you new care value on the site than you'll know what you should be paying before you even go to dealer.

      no reason to over pay.

  7. all dealership accepts all makes and model cars.

except some will not accept high performance cars such as ferraris and lamborghinis because due to it's high price they wouldn't be able to move that car unless they auction it off.(usually this only affect small  independent dealerships not the big ones)

    good luck
