  1. That Guy...I'm surprised.  In the Dogs section you always seem pretty open minded and kind to others, even those whose opinion differs from yours.  In this arena, you outwardly call Democrats "dumb" and practically spit upon those who don't have your beliefs.  It's interesting, and just a little sad to see because I appreciate your ideas in the other section so much.

I wish I had a real answer for you.  As a young adult, this is the first election I'm really a part of and the first one I'm interested in so I'm not confident in an answer to your question.  I find it interesting, the amount of venom spewed between the parties...this is exactly why so many people stay away from politics and religion...too many people cannot discuss differences in a calm and mature manner, resorting instead to insults and mud slinging and lying and just general a s s hattery and then we have people just not voting or not caring and seriously, it's important to "care" now more than ever.  There is no need to sneer so disgustedly on those who don't believe exactly as you do, is there?  Am I missing something?  Free speech and all that, sure, but isn't respect also important (by the way, not a Democrat, just in case anyone wanted to hurl some "Democrat liberal minded hippie c**p" insult my way...I was just taught differently, I guess)?

  2. I thought he was a bad choice in 2000.

I admire his convictions, though.  He believes what he believes and I respect that.  Won't make a bit of difference, though.  It's not like Liebermann is a Clinton or a Kennedy up there giving a speech in St. Paul.

  3. It's not a question of spin.  I've never liked him, even when I lived in Connecticut.  I felt he was a poor choice for VP in 2000.

  4. Do repubs remember THIS guy?:

The candidate's Bangladeshi born daughter was claimed to be his own, illegitimate black child

His wife was a drug addict.

The decorated Vietnam veteran was a traitor.

    He was a homosexual.

    He was mentally unstable.

Yep...that's McCain, according to his own party...in 2000.

  5. No he was gore's vp and no one is really sure why to this day. He is not as big of a joke as Palin, but he was a bad choice. We ousted him from the party in 2006, and we will oust him from the senate in 2012.

  6. Yeah that's right, the Dems "tried" to oust him in 2006... he just ran as an independent and "ousted" the Dem's "replacement" for him... I guess when Dems get smarter, they either leave the party or get "ousted"...

  7. I guess Lieberman and Biden both agree "Obama is unqualified"

  8. Ya he lost the Dem nomination and STILL won Conn as and independent whats your point.  I think this is a great example of the Democratic party going against their constituents and not the voice of the people.  Maybe Hillary should go independent.
