Do different bindings fit on different wake boards?

will one brand of wakeboard bindings fit on a different brand of wake boards

Almost all of wakeboard bindings will fit on any board except 2007 Slingshot bindings because they have a 4 hole pattern for mounting on the board so they will only fit on Slingshot boards, but the 2008 Slingshot bindings will work on other boards because even though they have the 4 hole pattern ( they come with an adapter plate for mounting on non-Slingshot boards) .  One problem you may run into is if you were to buy bindings that are more than a couple years old the screws may be too long to fit on some of the newer boards or an older board with newer bindings may have the same problem, but you can just go pick up some shorter screws at the hardware store. This has happened to me before, but it is an easy fix.
